Information collected and why
The contact form collects your first and last name, email address and enquiry message. Company and telephone number are optional. D360 uses this information to respond to enquiries, discuss projects and manage resulting business relationships. Please avoid including confidential drawings or sensitive project information in an initial enquiry.
The website and its providers also process technical information, such as IP address, browser and device information, needed to deliver and protect the service. Optional analytics helps D360 understand website use, subject to your cookie choices.
Lawful bases
Where you personally enquire about entering a contract, D360 uses relevant information to take steps at your request before entering that contract. For enquiries made on behalf of a business and ordinary business correspondence, D360 relies on its legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating the consultancy. D360 also has a legitimate interest in keeping the website and its forms secure. Optional analytics cookies are subject to consent.
You do not have to submit an enquiry, but the form needs your name, email address and message so D360 can respond. D360 does not automatically add enquirers to marketing lists or newsletters.
Providers and sharing
Squarespace hosts this website and processes form submissions. Enquiry notifications are sent to D360's email, which is routed through Google. Google reCAPTCHA is used to protect the contact form against spam and automated abuse. These services process information needed to provide their functions.
D360 handles enquiries through email and does not use a separate CRM. Squarespace may retain submission or contact records within its native platform. The retention approach below applies to enquiry copies held by D360, including platform records as well as email.
International processing
Squarespace and Google operate internationally, and information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. Their published terms describe safeguards for international transfers, including applicable adequacy frameworks and contractual safeguards. Squarespace's Data Processing Addendum includes the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and UK contractual safeguards where applicable.
Further information is available in Squarespace's Data Processing Addendum and Google's Privacy Policy. Contact D360 if you need information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are reviewed for deletion 24 months after the last meaningful correspondence, subject to active discussions or applicable retention obligations. Information relating to an ongoing business relationship may be kept for as long as needed to manage that relationship and meet applicable legal, accounting or record-keeping obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, or request portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To make a request, email mike@d360design.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
